Cox Cable
January 21, 2026 They are trying to make it so we will be needing their internet more. We just switched from Century Link and we’re getting faster internet, for less. In two years, they said that the price will increase. My wife and I are hoping century link will pull it together because we dislike how Cox treats its customers. We cannot stand them but they are the only other option in our market for the speeds we want.

December 15, 2025 I have had century link since I bought my house and it has never worked well on my phone. Every time I get home I have to disconnect my phone from WiFi to do anything. It works for my home security and cameras and streaming devices, but for my phone specifically the signal is just awful and there seems to be no fix.

August 19, 2025 they are a "decent" service. That is, when they actually work, and for a few months stretch earlier this year we lost service A LOT. There is a Fiber Optic service through Century Link that had much better service/almost never (maybe never) lost service or connectivity. But, their prices jumped up after the contract was up, and then COX was able to lock us in for a rate for 2 years.

A Omaha, NE Customer
Centurylink Fiber
June 01, 2025 It’s very hard to get ahold of anyone for customer service and their automated phone service is the worst I’ve ever experienced including when people started using them instead of having a human answer the phone. The internet itself gets worse every time they raise the prices and will drop the connection periodically for days. Absolutely not recommended for anyone that is work from home.
