I chose Focus Broadband as my new service provider because they came by to offer a really good price. I previously had AT&T fiber for about three years. I had no issues with AT&T, but I was paying $55 per month for 300 MPS. Focus Broadband offered me a price of $35 for 500 MPS. How could I refuse? They are a fairly local company. I was interested in getting the same company at my other house in Raleigh, NC, but they are not serving that area yet. So far, I have been very happy with the service and have no issues. There is only one glitch to report however. When the servicemen come to install the fiber, they accidently cut my water line! It became an emergency right away but they were able to fix it within an hour. Mistakes happen. They remedied the issue and all is well! A manager came by to visit me the next day to make sure everything was OK and that the repair was appropriate. I appreciated that they took the time to do a proper follow-up since cutting a water line is a pretty major gaff!

I'm currently dissatisfied with my internet. They are the only providers in the area so we are forced to use them, even if they lessen the quality while driving up prices. There are constantly outages everywhere within a 50 mile radius and their customer service skills are less than savory. They charge hidden fees, falsely advertise great service, and still find ways to not only short their customers but their own bottom-rank employees as well.

My internet provider provides top notch customer service. If you ever have an issue, you can call their support line and speak to a real person quickly. They offer to come out and fix whatever the problem may be within a day or two, so you don't lose much time without service which is important for people who work at home, like me. I've never had an issue with my service except once in the few years that I've been with this company and as I stated before, they were quick to fix the issue. The speed is exceptionally fast and the price is very reaonable.
