PLANTERS Telephone Cooperative Fiber

Planters has always had pretty good customer service. It's a small company and its a co-op so we actually get dividends or a discount that is evaluated yearly (i think?) for being part of the co-op. We only have one other choice in my neighborhood and that is xfinity. I have used xfinity when it was comcast and it was terrible. the service and customer service were awful. So when Planters became available here, I jumped on it. It was DSL originally and was upgraded to fiber at no cost to me. It impressed me that they wanted to stay up to date enough to eat the cost of changing everyone to fiber. I think they have finally completed this area. Anyway, I have had to deal with them a few times for services issues and was always met with pleasant people who followed through for the most part. They also gave me a modem when mine broke even though I didn't have the service plan or a rented modem. Overall, the small company feeling and vibe is a good part of what keeps me with them. There are other options here now but I have no interest or plan to switch. Planters service and price are just right.
