July 31, 2025 Id like to say that Dave who hooked us up went above and beyond to help. He was fantastic!!!
April 24, 2025 Fiber internet has a clear advantage in terms of stability and speed, and Premier Communications does deliver reliable connectivity. However, there are a few areas where my experience hasn't quite matched my expectations when we switched to the 1 gig service.
While Premier advertises speeds up to 1 gig, my actual speeds don’t always align with this promise. Despite using a router that is capable of handling speeds well beyond 1 gig, I regularly see speeds closer to 700–800 Mbps on a wired connection, and even lower on Wi-Fi. This is still fast, but it falls short of the full 1 gig I was expecting. Even with close proximity to the router and a minimal number of devices connected, the Wi-Fi speeds peak at around 500 Mbps, which, while still fast, doesn’t justify the premium price for a 1 gig plan. I understand Wi-Fi performance can vary, but this discrepancy remains a bit frustrating.
While I’m enjoying the fast, reliable internet service overall, the fact that I’m not consistently hitting 1 gig speeds is a little disappointing. The speeds I do get are certainly more than sufficient for daily tasks, streaming, and gaming, but the marketing of a "1 gig" plan implies that this should be achievable, and I'm not quite seeing that in practice.
If Premier Communications can offer more transparency or optimize the service to ensure customers consistently get the full gigabit speeds, this could easily become a 5-star experience. For now, I’d say it’s a solid service that could use a bit of fine-tuning to meet the expectations set by the 1 gig promise.
October 03, 2023 The speed of service was impressive. I got my services within 2 business days. Although I’m not happy with the price, I’m satisfied with the speed of the internet.
