While a customer with my current IP for a few years now, during this time because of the Pandemic, I was receiving a government subsidy/ discount for services provided to me by this Internet company. It cut my bill in half. Just a few months ago the government cancelled this program and everyone would then need to pay full price for their internet provider. I was not happy about this. However, in response to the government cancelling the subsidy program, my internet provider offered to those customers who were being affected by the cancellation of the program, and who had been one of their customers, not only would they continue to provide services at a discounted government rate, but provide them for even lower than the subsidy provided. On top of this, to sweeten the deal, they gave me, and all others affected, one month of FREE service. THus even though I anticipated having to pay more for my services, I ended up paying LESS for exactly what I was being provided for the last few years... with no anticipated increase in price ... this is one cool, righteous company!
