My provider has been an excellent provider save for a few occasional hiccups. I consistently have over 500 up and down. Sometimes the wifi will go out occasionally, but is only for a few seconds and happens seldomly and the ethernet remains up. Whenever there was a problem they were very understanding and quick to fix. Have had a much better experience with fiber than any previous service.

Smithville is a local fiber internet company in my area. The prices are great, and the speeds are fast. I pay 74 dollars a month, and get speeds consistently around 600 MB download and upload. Sometimes the speeds are faster, but hardly, if ever, fall below this speed. I have had this service almost 4 years, and never once have experienced an outage. It's unbelievable how reliable the service is. Previously I had cable internet, and experienced multiple outages a year, and the speeds were not even comparable to my current service. So, to say I'm very satisfied with my current provider, would be the understatement of the century.

I really like my internet provider because I live in a very rural area where many don't have service at all, yet my local company has installed fiber in a lot of out of the way places. I like the fact that my internet company is small - not a huge national corporation - and that allows for exceptional customer service. Their customer service is fast, friendly and local. They also provide home security that I have been very happy with.
