South Central Connect Internet Reviews

South central is a very good internet provider. They are fast at fixing problems on the seldom occasion one happens. I have had them for a little over 2 years and I don’t think I will ever switch providers. Super high speed for only $45 a month.

I have South Central 1 gig fiber internet. They do have problems with installers sometimes being late a messy. There are also problems beyond their control such as electricians and contractors doing installing things wrong on new housing, which they later have to fix, so I will give them extra credit for that. I've had their service at a few different addresses in this town, and more specifically, two different addresses in the past year, when they have offered 1 gig. My speed tests show that I have never reached over 600 meg download, but practically speaking, I'm able to do everything that I want, including gaming, and streaming high quality video. The price used to be closer to $100, but then they were able to get away from requiring land line phones with the service and therefore FCC taxes (it was probably a government thing), so the price went down to $85 flat. Just recently, out of nowhere they sent out a letter saying that due to increased efficiency, they are lowering everyone's price to $75 flat, at a time in the U.S. when prices on everything else are skyrocketing. I am very happy with this company and my service now.

I do enjoy the internet and service my provider offers. The only thing I would like is the option to opt out of physical mail statements. The pricing is better than I expected and the speeds are significantly better than I hoped for. The one router seems to provide coverage for my whole home which is about 1300 square feet.
