October 22, 2026 I had CenturyLink for 5 years mainly because they were pretty much the only internet provider where I lived at the time. Monthy price kept creeping up with no improvement in speeds and near monthly interruptions without compensation. I recently switched to fiber internet with 10X the speed and $20 less monthly cost. I returned the rented modem on time as asked. I discontinued CenturyLink in the middle of a billing period. They charged me for a full month instead of prorating my bill for half a month and they said I did not return the modem. Thankfully, I kept the UPS receipt and tracked the return. Sure enough, the modem was received by CenturyLink six days later after shipping. I called their customer service, provided the tracking number and they did remove the $150 unreturned modem charge. They would not prorate the month I discontinued service. My overall experience with CenturyLink was poor from nearly monthly interruptions in service, speeds near 10 Mbps and now charging me for services after I disconnected. I will never use them again. Customer beware; there are a lot better options out there for internet service. My biggest regret is staying with them as long as I did!

September 18, 2026 Awful install experience, weird service, lax security and complicated setup. My building is forcing everyone to use Zentro and the entire building hates them. Previously we were forced to use Xfinity and despite their awful reputation, they have become the hero of this story, and all of the building wishes we still had them. Definitely wouldn't recommend Zentro, not even to an enemy.

July 10, 2026 Internet service is good most of the time. Spotty sometimes. The install was a nightmare and continues with neighbors getting installs while the main box is in our yard. The installers continue to break up our landscaping, edging, and will not replace or repair. Called main office and got no help there at all. Had to call a technician to come out once and he was no help at all.
