MetroNet Fiber
January 23, 2026 I have been with Metronet going on 7 years now. My service been stable with only one outage that lasted about an hour. I have negotiated my monthly payments to a reasonable rate for my income and the company has been helpful when I requested assistance. Right now, the payments are equal to all other options in the area so I feel comfortable staying with Metronet at this time.

AT&T Fixed Wireless
January 22, 2026 I have had AT&T for over 10 years. We initially started with the plug in modem, which I recently found was outdated. AT&T offered their new Internet Air to replace and upgrade our current service. AT&T advised our current router was slow, compared to a flip phone. AT&T said with the new Internet Air, our service and speeds would "WOW" us. We have had the new Internet Air for 2 months and do not recognize any difference in speed. We have had issues when watching videos on our smartphones that they do not play well, which then we need to switch to 5G mode so the videos will play.

XFINITY Cable
January 09, 2026 I find Xfinity to operate in a rather customer unfriendly fashion. There seems to be a regional monopoly and competition is not strong. Xfinity is very expensive and the service is very middle of the road. The value proposition is quite poor.

January 05, 2026 Our internet provide is constantly raising our prices and is not transparent with why they are increasing. They make up new "fees" so it looks like they aren't raising your service itself just new fees you have to pay. It started off as a great deal but now our price is probably double what it was initially. We also bundle home phone and television and all of that has increased in price too. As of recently I am feeling like our service is starting to not be as quick and we have been casually looking for an alternative provider to go with.
