Verizon Fixed Wireless
January 18, 2026 I have been more than content with my internet service from Verizon. It has generally provided me with consistent connections, with nearly zero lag time. I never have an issue doing multiple things at once, such as streaming live sports and playing video games. I can't ever even really recall a time that the service went out over the past 6 years I've been with them.

Cox Cable
January 10, 2026 I work from home, and there are always outages. Due to where my home is located, Cox Wireless is the only home internet provider that I can use. It's frustrating because the community next door can subscribe to Google Fiber but we can't. Cox is not reliable at all because I lose connectivity several times a week. The only way I can stay connected is to ensure that my wireless hot spot is on incase I do drop out of a meeting.

January 05, 2026 I live in the Northwest of Las Vegas, by the mountains. Cox internet is the only thing available here that has speed. This speed waxes and wanes with the wind, and there is a lot in the desert coming off this mountain. I've tried other services and don't get reception here. My understanding is that Google-Fi is coming soon, which could mean years. I'd do Starlink or anything to get away from Cox internet, which I dislike extremely.

December 25, 2025 The service has stayed up and the speeds consistent; we've used the service for a little over two years. Billing has been good too. Autopay was easy to set up and, when I had to swap out cards due to a change from my banking institute, the updating process was smooth.
