Starry Fixed Wireless
October 03, 2025 Starry is really the only low cost internet carrier in the Denver area. Competitors such as Comcast or CenturyLink have started to charge absurd prices for offensively slow internet speeds. The most frustrating part is that internet as a whole in Denver is more expensive than a lot of other states and the speeds offered are also significantly slower. I used to have CenturyLink internet but I felt I was being price gouged considering it was $65/month for 200mbps. Thankfully someone in my building mentioned Starry and so far I haven't had a single issue. Sure the speeds aren't lightning fast but it can handle everything I do and for less than $30/month it can't be beat.

November 19, 2024 I am currently considering another internet provider. I am very unhappy with my current service with Xfinity. I am in a hybrid work environment and work from home half the week and on several occasions my internet has gone out. My internet is very unreliable which isn’t acceptable when I’m working from home. While the pricing is competitive and they rent the modem for free, reliable internet is much more important to me.

May 16, 2023 The service is pretty okay with no issues other than occasional outages due to bad weather and such. When our router stopped working one day we were able to go to the nearest brick-and-mortar Xfinity store and get a replacement free of charge, which was really cool. I also liked how we were able to set up the router by ourselves without having to pay for a technician to do what we were easily able to do alone.

Zentro
September 18, 2026 Awful install experience, weird service, lax security and complicated setup. My building is forcing everyone to use Zentro and the entire building hates them. Previously we were forced to use Xfinity and despite their awful reputation, they have become the hero of this story, and all of the building wishes we still had them. Definitely wouldn't recommend Zentro, not even to an enemy.
