Alyrica Fixed Wireless
September 10, 2025 We have been using a fairly new internet provider, Alyrica. We used them, because it was a new home and they installed fiberoptic internet. The price point seems reasonable at $70 a month. It seems to be very reliable and we can work from home and stream most things without any issues. We recommend them to new neighbors. The only issue we have is occasional slow speeds, which can usually be solved by resetting the router.

XFINITY Fiber
August 22, 2025 I have been very satisfied with my internet service provider. When we first moved into our current home and had to set up internet, the comcast store in town was very helpful in explaining everything that we need or don't need. The guys who worked there were very friendly and helped us to get a really good deal that lasted us two years. When the original plan expired and our price went up, they were amazing at helping to get us on a new plan with a much lower price without sacrificing speed or quality. We had some issues with the new router and their online customer service was just as helpful as the in store folks. This is less about the provider itself but our local store is right next to a bus stop which is super convenient as we can just take the bus over instead of driving.

XFINITY Cable
June 23, 2025 I appreciate that Xfinity has reliable, fast connections with a lot of uptime. I have lived in this location for about five years and have only had internet shortages a few times, all of which were fixed within a day. I feel that generally the pricing is good if you call or go to the store and get some kind of deal. The base price for the internet packages can be steep and one annoying thing is some deals only last a year, after which point the price of your plan will increase significantly. They don't contact you or warn you in advance so this charge can come as a surprise. Generally though they are willing to work with you to readjust your plan again to find a more affordable option that still provides the service you want.

Alyrica Fixed Wireless
November 02, 2024 Alyrica came preinstalled in the apartment that I moved into so it was the suggested provider. Installing started off poor and took an extra day for them to get the right address to turn on the internet. The WiFi is very bad and the 50 mbs down becomes 30 by just stepping into the living room 5 feet away. That 50 down turns into 5 down when going into either bedroom which are just down to the hall and it becomes unusable on both phone or desktop. This doesn’t account for the insane prices as the 50 mbs down is $80 a month. After just the 1 month we’ve decided to switch providers. For 500 mbs down through a national provider we will only pay $55 a month.
