Astound Broadband DSL
January 14, 2024 Our internet provider price is okay and the speed is fine however the reliability is iffy. We've gone through stretches where the connection will go down for periods of 10-15 minutes. Often times it's solved with a reboot of the router but sometimes there is nothing to do but wait. We've called but they haven't be able to provide us with a solution other than rebooting or waiting. They're one of two providers in the area and the cheapest.

March 28, 2023 My internet provider is local and I've been with them since I moved here. They lease AT&T lines in my neighborhood but provide much better service. I could have better speeds with Comcast but then I'd have to deal with that customer service nightmare. I have since become friends with the owner of the ISP and we've worked on a few projects together. The biggest one is trying to lobby the city to put in a community fiber network.
