I recently canceled our TDS internet due to almost constant buffering in a suburb surrounded by TDS customers. I had a credit balance at the time of cancelation. One month later TDS withdrew $112.69 from my bank account leaving me with $160.00 + credit because it was on autopay even though it had a credit balance and service had been canceled. I called for a refund and was told I'd have to wait from 120-150 days + 3 weeks + 10 days for my refund. What does that even mean? So TDS Corporate has the use of my money (and everyone else's)for 150 days. It's a racket. Don't get TDS and if you do DON'T do auto pay. Predatory policies!

I was overcharged for several months. I had a $49.95 3 yr plan, but I was overcharged and TDS promised to credit me for the overcharges but they never did. I spent hours on the phone with them! I cancelled and then found out that they DO NOT prorate for partial months service. CANNOT RECOMMEND! go with Quantum fiber!

So my internet provider is great! It’s convenient as well because it’s tied into my phone bill. It’s pretty cheap and always fast. Rarely ever goes out. T mobile has been the best internet provider I’ve had so far!

Centurylink DSL

I've had CenturyLink as my provider for over eight years now and I find them to be mostly agreeable. There was no installation fee when I first joined and though the pricing isn't the cheapest, it's been a solid service for me. Their customer service is very good and gets back to you quickly and they are willing and able to replace modems rather quickly. They offer plans for you to simply add the new modem fee to your month bill, which is nice if you don't have the full amount upfront. It isn't the fastest internet, but it also isn't the slowest. I'm able to stream and play games online without any issue, so that's nice.
