Omni Fiber
May 28, 2025 At first, I was skeptical of Omni Fiber because it is a newer company and a different type of internet around my area. After having it now for about 6 months, I am very pleased with it. It is cheaper than any internet service that is provided where I live. I have also never had issues with the internet going down and being unable to use it. This service is fast and reliable. I can't review how their customer service is because I've never had to contact them. That's how good this service has been.

Buckeye Fiber
February 09, 2025 Originally we started with Buckeye Cable service for TV only. We had another company's internet and phone. We opened up a can of worms by switching to Buckeye for internet, cable and phone. We were told for TV, we HAD to purchase Firesticks or we couldn't stream their TV. We were not told they had an app we could stream from as an alternative to purchasing these sticks. We had to purchase one for each TV at $25 each. So, $150 later, we find out they lied.
Next up the internet portion... Where do I start? We originally were on the cable internet. We were then forced to upgrade to the more expensive fiber optic internet. It is actually SLOWER than our original cable connection. We are highly disappointed with being forced to switch to a slower connection, and we're paying more! We are currently researching other options.

Buckeye Fiber
January 17, 2025 I recently was switched to a fiber setup. I was hesitant, but a gracious employee told me about a deal that made it kind of silly not to switch. My speed was greatly increased and my payment actually went down. It was locked in, too, so they can't raise it. It was kind of a ridiculous deal in that it was too good to be true. I thought the latter, and did a significant amount of looking into it before I agreed. My provider has terrible customer service and is generally hated in my area because they're our only choice for a lot of us, but I've been pleased with their improvement of late.

Omni Fiber
August 30, 2026 The most pathetic and worthless piece of shit company there is. My partner and I purchased our first home at the beginning of August and I called to set up Omni fiber (I work from home). The initial conversation went great - lady said it had already been set up in my area and we scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out and connect equipment. She said it would be a max 30 minute appointment. That call was on a Thursday and she scheduled the appointment for Sunday 2-5pm. I received texts to confirm the appointment however Sunday rolled around and no one showed up, texted, called or communicated. Until 8:45pm rolled around when I received a text saying he was on his way and could explain the delay. He showed up, walked around to look at something’s and said he couldn’t do anything because it has been disconnected and a bore would need to be made in our driveway/yard. He said I’d get a text in a few days. A week later I received a text that said I could call to reschedule the final installation appointment however a bore had not been made, there were still flags in my yard. I called anyway and was told a bore wasn’t needed as they did an aerial install with some cables or wires that ran to my house. Ok fine, the soonest available final install was an entire week out. That time comes and a lousy asshole named Castro shows up and is hanging out in our front yard, leaned up against our tree on the phone having a grand time laughing. 45 minutes go by and he finally starts working. An hour in and I realize his truck is no longer out front, he just left. I checked the backyard and his equipment was left in my grass. 45 minutes go by and he calls to say he has to go to a near by town to see if he can meet up with someone who has a router and modem because he didn’t have them. I asked him how the fuck he showed up for this installation without the 2 most needed pieces of equipment to finish the job? Anyway, he calls 20 minutes later and states they don’t have it either and he’d be back in the morning 9-10am to finish. I called immediately and spoke with someone who took all the information and said they escalated to a supervisor who’d call me back within 20 minutes. I waited an hour, no call. Go fucking figure. So I called back. Spoke with another individual who got me over to a supervisor immediately. A worthless one of course who said she “didn't know” to everything but she did make notes and sent them over for someone to call me asap the next morning. 9:30am following morning a manager calls me and says the tech will for sure be back out between 11am-2pm. I told her he said he’d be out between 9-10am? She said 11am-2pm was soonest available for him to return. 2:30pm and no one fucking showed. I called completely unhinged at this point and made it known if someone didn’t get out here and complete this job today, their equipment would be in the middle of the road and they could come pick it up then. From 2:30pm-5pm I was on the phone with an individual named Krista who was just as upset at my situation as I was and was willing to do whatever to help, something none of the other employees even attempted. I was on hold for quite awhile several times but I told her as long as there was a resolution, I’d stay on hold however long necessary. Eventually she reached dispatch and managers who were working to figure out the situation and get the job completed same day. There was no explanation or accountability for no one showing from 11am-2pm but she finally told me someone was on the way (20mins max). I waited and then got a call from a different lady at Omni who said the tech was outside waiting for me and she didn’t want me to miss him. I went outside and no one was there. She deeply apologized as their entire team knew about my situation as that point and checked his location. He was 2 blocks or streets away. She said she updated him and he’d be there in 5. No one fucking SHOWED!!!! I have these motherfuckers and hour before I called back and somehow reached Krista again who immediately reached back out to dispatch. She stayed on the phone with my until a different tech was in my driveway which took about 30 minutes. She had put in a request that a manager call me to speak with me about the entire situation. Didn’t ever get a call? Of course not because this is a company full of bitches who don’t want the confrontation or to take accountability or explain their bullshit. I did however tell them I would NOT be paying for the first 3 months after dealing with this and if they couldn’t accept that, to come get their shit and I’d go with a different company. I explained how much time they wasted of mine so I’d be wasting their money. She put in to give me 3 months free. A guy named John came out and finished the job. When places do shit like this to people, they have no fucking clue what issues they’re causing. Buying a first home and moving is stressful enough, on top of it I work from home and needed service asap.
