September 30, 2024 I live in the Miami Beach area and for some reason, there's only two internet providers over here. One is AT&T, which my family and I have had problems with for as long as I can remember, and the other one (my current provider), is Breezeline. They used to be Atlantic Broadband before they rebranded, and I mention these companies because they hold a monopoly in this area. There is no Verizon, Optimum, Spectrum, etc. - there's no other providers but them. I've been using their internet service since 2020, and for the most part, everything has been more than exceptional. 300 mbps download speed for around $50-90 give or take? Honestly more than perfect. My only problem with Breezeline is that I can't tell if either the company is throttling me or that the generator next to us is constantly blowing up or just never working. There'll be times around the day where I'll just lose internet for the entire day and it's a common occurrence around here - it's annoying! Outside of that, the internet is great and their service is even better. I was able to sign up to a plan, even while being an existing customer, to get my bills to be even cheaper then they normally are, and I really appreciated that since I was going through a tough time and money was scarce.

Atlantic Broadband Fiber
March 18, 2024 I have always felt trapped into using this internet provider because our options are limited in my high-rise building. In recent years, the internet service was dismal to mediocre at best. I experienced frequent internet outages, and it was difficult to reach a customer service agent. It was common to be on hold by phone or chat from 45 minutes to an hour. I am a 100% self-employed remote worker, so those outages were stressful and very costly for me. I lost quite a bit of money on the days when we had outages. Recently, Breezeline entered into a contract with our condo association board. The installed fiberoptic in the building. We did not vote on it, but the costs are now part of our monthly maintenance fees. Before, we were paying separately for service. From what I understand, this is something that they are doing with other condo associations in the area. The package includes high speed fiber internet, a gateway/modem, and a TV package with equipment. I do not have a television, but I am now obligated to pay for this service because it's included in my condo fees. Given that more people are "cutting the cord" these days, I assume this is their way to guarantee income in the coming years. I have been using the fiber internet for a few weeks now. Thus far, the speed has been good, and there have not been any outages. Also, the customer service team picks up faster. When I call, I usually hear a recording flagging me as a "high value customer". I assume that's because it's the association's account. I hope the improved quality of service continues. If it does not, I am not sure what our options would be.

January 23, 2024 It was my first time using Breezeline as I recently moved to Miami. The service has a monopoly on internet service for rental properties in the area so I had no other choice. The price was a little misleading because I was quoted 19.99 per month but now I pay 29.99 per month for a reason I’m not sure. However, the service is much faster than the AT&T I used previously. They also sent the set up equipment very quickly, which I appreciated.
