Cox Fiber
October 14, 2025 I've had cox for about 5 years now and really don't experience outages frequently, so that makes me happy. If there is one, it's often around midnight which feels planned and intentional so as not to disrupt peoples lives too much. I find it frustrating that my contract price isn't so flexible- like I was paying $50/mo for 750 mbps and could only upgrade to 1000mbps for $60/mo, then as SOON as I selected my new contract, the OLD price of $50/mo and 750mbps showed on my account again as available to select. Like it's fine, it's only $10 more, and I'll get pick that in another 2 years. But why not just make all the options available all the time? Just somewhat shady, and silly that I'll have to go "up and down" for the rest of my time with cox.

September 06, 2026 Zito Cable service suffers from extensive packet loss, especially between 10pm and 8am local. The download is advertised at 400Mbps and that is mostly provided; however, the upload is advertised at 25Mbps and averages 5Mbps throughout the day and regularly dropping to less than 1Mbps from 10pm to 8am local. Packet loss also increases significantly from 1 to 5% during the day to between 10 and 50% during the evening. Frequent connection drops occur throughout the entire day.
