XFINITY Cable
January 23, 2026 I have Xfinity through a special offer. I feel that I get a decent price with a basic service. Although they did up my price by 50% at the beginning of the year. My mother-in-law was a customer who spent way too much for her service. When we had to discontinue her service because she was moving, Xfinity made it a nightmare. Terrible, terrible customer service from Xfinity for her. I only have it because it is a special and good deal for me personally. I do have many interruptions in service. Currently I am doing this survey by hot spotting my cellphone service. Strange coincidence to be asked about it while it's down. But the service outages happen often so it was bound to happen sometime, I guess.

February 06, 2023 Metronet went above and beyond what I expected when they installed. They took the time to apply the credit from the Affordable Connectivity Program over the phone with us before coming to install so we would not be charged extra up front. The service was so much faster and cheaper than what we had with Comcast. It stopped working suddenly the same day and they quickly came out to fix the issue and have not had one since that day. I recommend Metronet to anyone looking to switch providers. They are amazing.
