June 12, 2026 When it works it is great, but when it doesn’t it takes a long time to get it resolved. I am on the third weekend in 60 days with no internet. Breaks on Thursday or Friday and doesn’t get resolved until Monday or Tuesday. Now days internet is an essential service and a company with a service department that takes the weekends off is unacceptable. When I was in Fort Worth I had AT&T DSL which sucked but the last nine months I had AT&T fiber which was extremely reliable, 9 months with Nextlink not so much.

October 30, 2025 I have AT&T fiber. I thought I had a contract but the price went up about $5 a few months ago and then another $5 just recently. I should/will start looking for a new provider.

April 12, 2023 Viasat is a horrible internet service provider. The only reason we have them is because there are no other options in our suburban neighborhood. Pricing is outrageous, $100/month for 12 months then $120/month for the next 12. Two year contract required. I wouldn't mind paying so much but the 50gb data cap and the average 20mbs speed is just highway robbery. In this day and age where streaming content is the norm, the data cap is ridiculous. It's not a capability problem because you have the option of my more data every month, which we always have to do, and that drives the bill up to over $150/month.
