June 22, 2025 I am highly unsatisfied with my internet provider. My apartment complex has a contract with Bloom Broadband, and I am required to obtain my internet services through them per my rental agreement. The price is nearly double what I paid at my last apartment despite being in a lower cost of living area, and the speed is significantly worse. The quality is also incredibly inconsistent, and varies depending on the time of day and day of week. Weekday mornings and early afternoons are manageable, and I'm generally able to use both my laptop for light internet use (emails, internet browsing) and my phone or tv for a streaming service. During late afternoons, early evenings, and weekends, it can be largely unusable. I often have to disconnect my phone from the wi-fi to get webpages to load on my laptop, and I'll periodically be unable to connect to the internet at all even with only one device turned on in my unit. I have spoken with other tenants and they have shared similar experiences. Unfortunately, I live in a very large apartment complex with several hundred units, and there's not much I can do about it.

That occasionally happens when watching media, though sometimes it happens when on Zoom meetings. So I'm generally happy with speed though occasionally frustrated with reliability.

Every other company keeps saying there going to company and build a line but never do. I keep looking every year but I can not ever do d anyone who came into the area yet.
