Rise Broadband Fixed Wireless
August 07, 2024 I have had Rise for 2 years, and I have had quite a few problems with them as my ISP. Due to being a rural customer, I have satellite, and the satellite frequently has to be reconfigured due to movement or high winds. The scheduling process for repairs is frustrating because they only come during business hours, and I have to take off work to have anything repaired. Multiple times, I've taken off work for a scheduled repair and then no one from Rise showed up and it was rescheduled without notifying me. Several times, one person would show up, let me know the job was a "two man job" and they'd have to reschedule for when two people can come. Currently, there is damage to my roof from the satellite, and I've opened a damage claim for Rise to repair it, and they have denied the claim, saying the damage is normal wear and tear. However, the damage is literal bolt holes in my shingles and a broken tripod from the old satellite still on my roof, and there is no normal wear and tear. Rise is not solving this issue, and I am close to cancelling my service with them because of constant problems. We also had a storm that damaged the satellite last week, and despite me telling Rise on the phone and in email that the satellite was bent in half, they still sent one person out to "assess the damage" and tell me it was a two man job, and he will reschedule for the next week to repair it. So I'm going to go two full weeks without internet service because of Rise's incompetence.

January 10, 2023 It is somehow affordable. We pay around $40-$50 per month i just forgot the exact amount. It is already unlimited and i think it is more than 100mbps which is enough for us. Also stable and seldom that we encounter problem. We are also satisfied with their customer service.
