January 30, 2024 My internet service is actually provided for "free" through my apartment complex, and I'm legitimately satisfied with my Apartment's Rent. With respect to the actual quality of the internet provider? I can stream videos on discord while watching videos on things like Max/Hulu/Netflix. I can participate in Helldivers matches, online other matches through both Xbox as well my PC. I face no discernable slowness of internet, there's no lag. Voice Chat works extremely well for all situations. Really I'm enjoying everything. Hell I've had a 40 minute recording compressed and saved within I think 5 minutes? So Its really been great.

Astound Broadband Cable
June 15, 2023 I don't have a choice of which ISP I use. The complex I live in signs 10 year contracts with Astound. I have called every year to keep the price down and implemented a program that takes $30 off of the bill. I have my own router but don't always have great speeds even though my plan says 300 mbps. Their customer service so far has been great. I had a problem when I moved in September from another property that also used Astound. I was unable to connect the internet w/o a service tech. because the last tenant did not pay their bill. I was told they would have to manually turn it back on. I set everything up properly and then they wanted to charge me $80 for the technician, all because someone else didn't pay their bill. I ended up only paying $30 of that after speaking with customer service. I still don't think it was fair, but didn't want to wait to solve the issue. They could have sent it to the higher-ups but I just took the $50 credit and left it at that.

Spectrum Cable
June 14, 2023 I think for the service being provided AT&T is really overpriced. There are a lot of service outages and they are priced higher than almost any other services. I only continue to pay for it because I don't want to spend time on the phone with their customer service to change it. Their customer service is very difficult to work with as they outsource all of it so no one on the phone is ever very helpful.
