Mediacom Cable
December 21, 2025 Mediacom is reliable, but it has significant drawbacks. When I started using mediacom, my internet was about $80/month. Now, it's nearly double that price at $140/month. Though the internet it provides is great, the significant increase in cost makes it feel as if they do not value their customers.

Brightspeed Fiber
September 29, 2023 Compared to other internet providers in the area, Brightspeed goes above and beyond. They have quick speeds and totally reasonable prices. Most people in the area are still using cable internet and aren't aware there are other options, but Brightspeed offers better internet and at a price that most can afford. I wouldn't go back to the other providers in the area for their services. I've been turned into a fiber fan and I doubt I'll ever leave Brightspeed unless something major changes.

Brightspeed Fiber
September 25, 2023 BrightSpeed is our current internet provider. It is a fiberoptic network. While the cost is about the same that we were paying to our previous ISP, the speeds are slightly better at times. It seems as though our network will get congested and slows severely when we have multiple people connected and streaming on multiple devices. I would recommend BrightSpeed to those considering fiberoptic internet, but I would caution them if they have multiple individuals who will be using the network at the same time due to the slower speeds and reliability.

Brightspeed Fiber
May 04, 2023 I switched from Mediacom to CentruyLink, and CenturyLink's business in my area was apparently sold to Brightspeed shortly after that. I experienced no changes to my service, and my rate has not increased. There are no data caps with this service, I've experienced no outages, and speed is better than I had with Mediacom. Everything about this fiber service has been an upgrade from what I experienced with Mediacom cable.
