We live in a rural area and don’t have great options as far as service. Our local electric company recently rolled out fiber to our area and it has revolutionized our lives. Two adults work full time from home and we went from struggling to work around outages, incredibly slow connection speeds, and buffering, to not having to think about any of it at all. We have multiple devices streaming at all times as there are six people living in the house and it doesn’t affect the speed whatsoever. Our speed test shows numbers in the hundreds now! It’s wonderful that even in a rural area we can have internet that far exceeds that of our friends living in a major city. We had previously tried Hughes Net, our phone provider, and even Starlink with limited success. But our local electric company (CREC) was the solution we needed all along.
