Horrible service keeps going out and I work from home! This is causing me to lose money and also miss work. Checking to see if I cancel for another company

My HOA cover Internet services. This company is the nightmare 90% of the day. I am having Internet disconnected maybe 25 to 30 times right now I don’t have Internet. I called. They sent a technician they talk about some wiring. The next day is going to be a same problem I complain to the office. Nothing happened. This is the nightmare.

So, I live in an apartment and had exactly zero choice on internet provider. We're required to use the provided wi-fi fulfilled by Smartaira. The service is... fine. However, I've been extremely dissatisfied in the amount of control I have over my service and network, or more accurately, lack thereof. As far as I can figure, each apartment is equipped with a ceiling affixed wireless access point through which they split service throughout the whole building. There is no way to hardline into the network or access any standard router features (like ip blocking, port forwarding, device management, etc. ) and I hate it. My primary concern is the portforwarding as I (would usually) host servers for both remote storage/file sharing and game services (usually just for friends). I hadnt even known this type of mass deployed internet access was being used, much less where I was signing up to live and I have few options, and none are incredibly feasible (especially with my current equipment). Im sure this is a great cost saving strategy with no hardware to manage between different tenants and streamlined customer service, but for anyone who has any inkling of how to make the most of networking devices, its insulting at best.

It's 2025 and their internet just goes down randomly. It went down for days without explanation a couple of months ago. Once again it is out all over my very large building. It says there are no outages. Customer service left me on hold for a half an hour and so I let them have the option of calling me back I've now been waiting for an hour it's 4:25 in the afternoon and I'm pretty certain that it's not coming back tonight. According to the building it's been out all day. This is not a well-run company find somebody else to use for your internet

My condominium homeowners' association ("HOA") covers the internet in my building as part of the monthly HOA dues. I previously had Luxspeed as my internet provider until Luxspeed was purchased by Smartaria. I have generally been quite satisfied with the system; it is a building-wide WiFi system with a WiFi signal booster installed near the doorway of each condo unit. The reliability is good and I've only experienced a few outages since I moved in in September 2023. The only downside is that there is no functioning wired internet available, so there is some minor amount of latency which can occasionally affect tasks like online gaming. However, overall, I am very satisfied with Smartaria, especially since it does not cost me anything personally.
