XFINITY Fiber
May 12, 2024 Since I live in an apartment building, xfinity is the only choice I have in internet provider. However, I have been satisfied so far. The speed is usually great and the price is fair. They recently increased my internet speed due to several on-time payments which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would change is that there was a recent outage that was random (not due to weather, etc.) and the speed has seemed slower since it was resolved.

AT&T DSL
May 15, 2023 I have been waiting for my neighborhood to get AT&T fiber which I have heard good things about from my friends. The AT&T DSL service I have is a quite slow and the connection drops several times a day when I am in webex meetings or on Zoom calls. Part of the problem is that so many things are now hooked up to the internet - in addition to our computers, phones, tablets, and TV's, we have Nest cameras, a smart thermostat, Alexa devices, etc. As soon as fiber becomes available, I intent to switch.

XFINITY Cable
May 01, 2023 I'm actually sharing the internet with two other people, as we rent a two bedroom condo together. The internet cost is $75 per month, and we each pay a third of it. However, the service is pretty choppy at times, and has an annoying tendency to disconnect from time to time. To be fair, it probably doesn't help that there are three of us using it, often at the same time, but for what we're paying, it feels substandard, and the customer service isn't that great.
