Fidium Fiber
September 16, 2026 Service is okay. Fidium customer service is abominable. They told me when I signed up that at the year mark, I could call and keep the same pricing - $67.50 per month. I called, they said it was granted, then they proceeded to bill me $87.50 for the next six months. I called every month, until I finally gave up, paid them the $87.50 and then my bill went to $90. I called to terminate their service in per disgust for this company (to Spectrum for better service, $15 lower a month plus streaming of certain channels). They said I would get a sticker in the mail to return their box - that it would arrive in 5 - 7 days. I got their bill - they charged me for THE FULL MONTH, they did not prorate the bill from the stop date. I called twice - one customer service person said it would be prorated, the second said it would not, the supervisor said that it would be. I am STILL waiting to get their return sticker in the mail. DO NOT sign up with this company - they WILL NOT deliver what they promise, then they put you through heck and high water to fix back to what they promised you originally. I am exceptionally glad to be rid of them!!!

September 11, 2026 First. They lie about the promotional price. They claim $30. But bill you $50. Their internet drops off and on. up to 40 minutes. Tried calling them about the internet dropping. Called 4 times in the same day. First 2 times. Busy signal. 3rd time, Said call connecting. Nothing happened after that. 4th time. Phone just rang and rang and rang. Have had them for 2 or 3 months. Useless internet/Company.

Spectrum Cable
March 21, 2026 I am paying $90/month for my internet service. Granted, it is fast. However, I remember when cable modems first came out and the service was $19.99. I do understand inflation, etc, but it's really tough to pay that bill every month. They never offer discounts or compensation when the service goes out, sometimes for several hours or a day. I just wish it were a little cheaper, that's all.

February 28, 2026 Spectrum is not a great internet provider. It cost to much, and frequently goes down. Sadly there isn't much choice in rural Maine.

February 06, 2026 I've had many issues over the year with Breezeline. They used to be named something else, but changed it. The prices have been going up throughout the years, but the speed hasn't changed. I don't even have the highest tier and it costs me just under $100 a month. I've tried to ask for the price to be lowered to no avail. It's unfortunate because the company knows it can get away with ripping us off due to the lack of competition.
