Google Fiber

November 17, 2025

I've had google fiber for a total of 7 years. I first got it when I moved to Nashville and chose a new apartment building. I found google fiber to be really reliable most of the time, and it was also very easy to access my account online in order to pay bills, make account changes, etc. When i bought a house 2 years ago, I was forced to get Verizon home 5G, because google fiber hadn't reached that area yet. I hated having Verizon, and was thrilled to eventually have the option to switch to fiber. I still have fiber now, and i recommend it to anyone who asks.

Google Fiber

July 07, 2025

When my husband and I lived in Kansas City, we were very happy with Google Fiber. We had no issues and it worked great. We moved to Nashville a year ago, and still stuck with Google Fiber. It has been nothing but sluggish, laggy, things crash all the time, and uploads fail. We have tried to get help for it with no luck. We're pretty unhappy with the service now. We wonder if it could have something to do with the volume of people here in Nashville, but nonetheless, we are paying the same amount and should get the same service.

XFINITY Cable

January 22, 2025

I've had somewhat of a frustrating experience with my ISP, Xfinity, particular in terms of the user interface. I recently moved from an apartment to a house and the process of moving my service account from one address to the other was painstaking. I was met with errors at practically every step despite following all instructions. The Xfinity plans are all pretty expensive, so I was really disappointed that the process wasn't more streamlined.
