April 11, 2026 Xfinity does not allow for any sort of discounts once you are locked into a contract. I have tried calling several times and despite not needing as much extra fast internet which we added when I had a roommate, they couldn't help me with adjusting my rate. They said that it is cheaper to just keep the extra speed because if I were to adjust it and decrease the speed (since I am rarely home and do not need it), I would end up paying more. I only see packages that include deals for new customers, never for customers who has utilized Xfinity for years and been loyal.

April 08, 2026 I wish that I had other options. I live in the downtown of a major west coast city, but can only choose between Xfinity and AT&T. While AT&T is slightly cheaper, it is far slower. In reality there is only one option for high-speed internet that I need for streaming video and gaming. Xfinity has a fair amount of downtime and an overly complicated process for receiving compensation, even though they are aware of the issues and are able to contact affected customers. Overall, they are highly inconvenient to deal with as a customer.

December 19, 2025 Hello there, Xfinity is a great service provider for the price. They offer about a $40 plan for unlimited data for me. I find that I have no issues in the cities, however, when I go to less densely populated areas, I find that the service is not as great. There are various other better internet providers out there like Verizon (from my experience), but I switched over because the unlimited talk text as well as a 50 gb hotspot is great for the price. Overall, I think that the speeds are great for what it is, however, it does come with some drawbacks like lowering my data speed after a certain amount of data usage from 5G down to a lower bandwidth.

October 10, 2025 I've been a customer of Xfinity for over 10 years now. The service has been great with minimal downtime. On average, I experience connection issues about 2 times a year. Which I think is great from what I hear others experience. I always renew my 2 year contract to make sure I have the lowest monthly costs. Overall great experience.
