When we originally moved here Antietam was a horrible internet service. We would lose services for multiple hours a day, for weeks. But over the last few years they have upgraded speeds. Spread their capabilities to our area more. And now are outstanding. We never have service interruptions. The customer service is always amazing!

My internet provider is better than most others in my area. It works faster and has better connection than pretty much any other internet provider around since it is the mountains. Depending on location of the house it can be better and it can be worse some days. Overall it is the only one we have found that works and id rather have something that works most of the time than nothing. It works for internet searches fairly fast and good. It also works for calling over wifi and for streaming services on the television. This would be things like netflix, hulu, paramount, etc.

Pre-COVID they were the absolute worst. Service was overpriced, slow, and customer service was terrible. During COVID they changed their pricing model, drastically increased speeds, and removed all of their data caps. The service has been really great since then in all aspects. They went from a 1 out of 5 to a 4.5 out of 5 for us.

Verizon Fixed Wireless

April 24, 2026

The process of actually getting the wifi box was an incredibly drawn-out process with Verizon that took over a week of back and forth. The customer service operatives were either incapable of helping or unwilling to assist over the course of 15 phone calls. They forgot to send the wifi box until another call prompted them to look and then had to same day ship it in order to save face. The wifi itself works fine, but it almost wasn't worth the hassle of actually getting it to the house.
