November 08, 2025 I think Google Fiber is a great service. I have never had an outage while using the service. The speed is great, especially when you share service with roommates. Video or audio quality do not lag at all. I watch a lot of Youtube, Netflix, and other streaming services on my Apple Tv. The service is great for what you get.

June 22, 2023 We recently switched to fiber a few months ago. We rent out a basement apartment and share wifi with upstairs. At first, we saw great improvements to quality vs xfinity that we had previous. However, as the winter months and more weather have come we've noticed outages and slowness. Additionally, it can get affected by local construction. Not sure if the weather is just coincidence or related to how fiber works, but it is something that is annoying.

June 04, 2023 Happy with current speed but wish I could get more. Unfortunately with current set up my house does not qualify for faster Internet. Boxes that are on the main lines in my area are outdated. There are currently no plans from Century Link to update. However once they do we will be upgrading!

February 15, 2023 Google fiber has been very dependable. With our previous provider the internet would cut out throughout the day, or of too many people were using it at the same time it didn't work well, things wouldn't load. We now are able to have multiple devices streaming and using the signal at the same time. The range also seems pretty reasonable. My only put off is the price. $70/month is pretty pricey, but we need very reliable internet for working from home.

August 19, 2026 I recently canceled our TDS internet due to almost constant buffering in a suburb surrounded by TDS customers. I had a credit balance at the time of cancelation. One month later TDS withdrew $112.69 from my bank account leaving me with $160.00 + credit because it was on autopay even though it had a credit balance and service had been canceled. I called for a refund and was told I'd have to wait from 120-150 days + 3 weeks + 10 days for my refund. What does that even mean?
