AT&T Fiber
January 18, 2026 I have never had an issue with the AT&T technical service or setup. However, anytime there is a dispute with billing, AT&T is a nightmare to deal with. It seems that they go out of their way to make it as hard as possible to get a resolution. You will get bounced around through several levels of customer service and supervisors/managers. No one seems to be tracking your previous complaints, so you have to tell and retell the account of your situation to each new person you talk to. It is very frustrating to deal with.

Spectrum Fiber
January 01, 2026 I've been using a fiber internet provider for over a year now, and the experience has been excellent. The speeds are consistently fast, even during peak hours, which is great for streaming, video calls, and remote work. I also appreciate the reliable uptime—outages are rare and quickly resolved. The installation was smooth, and customer service has been responsive when I’ve had questions. Overall, it's a solid choice if fiber is available in your area.

Spectrum Cable
December 19, 2025 The thing I dislike most is the promotional pricing. Finding what the true price will be is very difficult to get from Spectrum. Also, their upload speed is terrible and they will not improve this unless you are a business customer.

AT&T Fiber
December 11, 2025 I pay for 2Gig fiber from AT&T and the internet service itself has been great. In the year I've had it I've only had 1 or 2 examples of outages that were resolved quickly. The only real issues I've had were with the installation. The AT&T installer that originally ran the fiber to my home did so in a manner that was inappropriate, that resulted in that fiber line failing. AT&T did promptly replace this line free of charge, but it was definitely inconvenient.

Verizon Fixed Wireless
November 24, 2025 I used to have Earthlink which was through AT&T, and it was horrendous. The internet would constantly go out, and the customer service was a nightmare. I was on hold for hours only to be disconnected or for someone to not even know what I was asking. I thought that I had to have Earthlink when I moved into my current apartment because this was the provider that the apartment told us to use. We didn’t have a choice for the power/energy company, so I thought internet was the same. Once we eventually cancelled, after another terrible experience with customer service, we switched to Verizon. With my first responder discount and auto-pay enrolled, we only spent $50/month on internet. For Earthlink, we were spending about $120/month for much worse internet. Verizon has not had any outages since we’ve been with them. The internet is fast and reliable. I am so happy we switched. I would never recommend AT&T internet to ANYONE.
