VEXUS Fiber

I’m very much a creature of habit. I rarely embrace change. However, we recently changed to Vexus Fiber. This was not something I wanted to do. But it’s gonna be better yada yada yada. I’m a night owl, I am up late, very late. So the last few nights our internet has gone down for up to 2 hours. We called them today and they said, yeah it’s updating. It’s going to do that every single night as long as you have this for up to 2 hours a night. I told them if my electricity was going to go off e wry night for 2 hours I would be livid, just like I am over this….. crickets….. no cares given…. Just wow ugh. Nowhere on any advertisement does it say, sign up for our service to you can be without internet for 14 hours a week or 60 hours a month. Yes please sign up and be without internet for 730 hours of internet a year. Are you kidding me? Sooooo mad!

Our ISP used to be sudden link but optimum bought sudden link so now we are with optimum. So far optimum has been great. We haven't had any days where our internet was slowed down or throttled. The uptime has been great too, and when there has been an outage they are very quick to restore service.

Suddenlink offers sub-optimal speeds to rural customers for inflated prices. Many people living in these areas have no other options available and are forced to accept these terms. I believe customer satisfaction could be improved by investing in better networks for rural areas with more competitive pricing. As things stand, they will start to lose their customer base as other, more affordable companies become available.
