EarthLink Fiber
October 09, 2023 I have been with my internet provider, Earthlink, since I first got home internet around 25+ years ago. Over the years, I have been satisfied with the service they provided. When I did need support, their customer service reps were always able to arrange for the help I needed to fix the problem. Recently when my internet went down, when the customer service rep found out I needed the internet for purposes of working from home, she was able to arrange a next day appointment for the tech to come out to fix my problem. I was very pleased with the quick service.

Spectrum Cable
May 14, 2023 Spectrum does a good job of hitting rated speeds. I am satisfied with my 200 Mbps plan but I think it is a bit too expensive. I also think they have too many outages and aren't upgrading as fast as they could. Gigabit internet should be available by now, but Spectrum at least offers wide service area coverage. They are the best in my area but I'm always on the look out for better.

May 01, 2026 I wish there was a discount for continued customers. It seems you can get a deal to become one, but it is hard to get a loyalty discount. There are not a lot of choices out there, so usually it is not easy to switch to a different provider. They like to sell you extra bells and whistles, but when it comes time to giving you a break on your pricing, it is usually the same story. Sorry, there are currently no discounts available for you. I wish there were better options out there.
