Spectrum Cable
September 22, 2025 I find that my service is usually pretty reliable, but the speeds are middling and the cost after the first-year discount is way too high. There is little-to-no competition in the area though, so I am basically forced to use Spectrum. I prefer wired connections and do not necessarily trust in 5G for home use, which is my other option provided by Verizon. If the pricing were better, I wouldn't have many complaints. I did have to recently switch addresses and the customer service was pestering me the entire time about a mobile phone plan, which was annoying. Additionally, I was forced to call instead of being able to do it online, which makes little sense to me.

AT&T Fiber
September 02, 2025 Obtaining service and setup was fast and friendly. Tech came, set up, then provided all instructions and explanations. They specifically stated that they were trying to re-gain customers by foregoing promotional deals and instead, offering a low monthly amount without “nickeling and diming the customerâ€. Monthly bill was reasonable. Unfortunately, they recently increased their bill by $5 because I use a credit card to auto-pay. They described it as a “decreased discountâ€, as opposed to an “increased feeâ€. I will not use a debit card or allow a company to access my checking account to take the money out, for security reasons. Large companies like AT&T should consider credit card fees as the cost of business. I will consider switching internet providers because they are nickeling and diming their customers.

AT&T Fiber
August 18, 2025 I made the switch from Spectrum after a neighborhood move earlier this year. The service I've received from AT&T has been exceptional; they are responsive, communicative, and fair. My internet speed is also greatly improved. Though the cost of my internet has gone up slightly, I'm very satisfied with the overall results. I find the cost to be worth the benefits, and I would likely stick with AT&T as a service provider over other options.

Earthlink Fiber
October 09, 2023 I have been with my internet provider, Earthlink, since I first got home internet around 25+ years ago. Over the years, I have been satisfied with the service they provided. When I did need support, their customer service reps were always able to arrange for the help I needed to fix the problem. Recently when my internet went down, when the customer service rep found out I needed the internet for purposes of working from home, she was able to arrange a next day appointment for the tech to come out to fix my problem. I was very pleased with the quick service.

Spectrum Cable
October 01, 2023 My internet provider has been spectrum most of my life, and it has been subpar. I’m disappointed that the only options in the city I live in are AT&T or spectrum. No other choices. It seems like most people are angry at both of them for doing all of the same things and they get looped into paying more money after about a year or two. A lot of people switch providers year by year and I think that’s exhausting and so frustrating, but internet is a necessity for almost everyone at this point in time. It’s all such a big scam.
