Tipmont Remc Internet Reviews

We switched from AT&T to Tipmont Fiber within the last 6 months. We had been with AT&T for years and also have them as our cell service provider so it would have been much easier to stick with AT&T. Unfortunately, we had numerous outages within the past year that were unexplained and could not be contributed to accidents, weather, etc. We were dealing with this often which was very inconvenient with our childrens monitors and my husband working from home, among many other things. The wait time to get this fixed in some cases was WEEKS because we had to have someone come out to our house. Customer service was very unhelpful and did not compensate us appropriately for our trouble. As a result, we switched to TIpmont as they had recently installed fiber in our area. The process of getting it set up and ran to our house was very quick, much faster than we were told at the beginning. Communication and updates throughout the process were great and the employees were so respectful while working on our property. Since the switch we have had great service with no outages and could not be more pleased. We wish we would have switched sooner. It has definitely eliminated so many headaches that we were having with our previous provider. For reference, we live in a very rural area but the speeds and convenience of the Tipmont fiber definitely don't make it feel like that.
