May 17, 2026 As a busy mom juggling freelance work and keeping up with two energetic kids, reliable internet is non-negotiable in our Boston home. We've been with Verizon Fios for years, and honestly, it's been a lifesaver. The speed is consistently fantastic, which means smooth video calls for my editing work and no buffering when the kids are streaming their favorite shows. Plus, with some of the "insider tips" I've picked up over time, I feel like we're getting incredible value for the robust service we receive. It just makes life so much easier when you don't have to worry about your internet connection dropping out.

May 17, 2026 Currently the only provider in my area is Xfinity. The rates are incredibly high but because they are the only provider, customers have no options.

Verizon Fiber
May 02, 2026 While my service is consistent, it is pricey, finding less expensive options is difficult. It is hard to compare the mismatch options and what we need. I am close to going all streaming. Bundle service is difficult as no one group manages as they have different departments. Like I considered trying to do Verizon, but not sure about the bundle and verizon is spotty- so we have our pricey plan 27- (voice, cable and internet).
