July 05, 2025 Overall, Spectrum internet service does a good job. However, at times there are buffering issues that are quite frustrating. The internet speed is very acceptable.

Centurylink DSL
May 12, 2025 I've only had this internet provider for about a month and my experience has been very mixed. It was a quick process to get the internet set up, however the billing experience and customer service I am not at all impressed with. I have been unable to log into my account on their site to find out when my bill is due and how much it is. It's nearly impossible to get an actual person, so that has been extremely frustrating. The internet service itself has been mostly decent, but the customer service aspect really makes me not a huge fan.

Cable One Cable
June 25, 2023 I switched roughly two years ago from DSL to Cable, because the DSL speeds were too slow for us to work from home during the pandemic. At first, the price was lower because i qualified for a pandemic-era discount. That federal program changed (but didn't disappear), but my cable provider wouldn't help me requalify for the program. This is frustrating.
As for speed, it seems fine. I think the operating system on my devices slows me more than the Internet speed. I also like nice having a low data cap (i technically have a cap, but never get close to reaching it.)

Cable One Cable
June 25, 2023 I love my internet provider. As one of the larger competitors offering internet service in the area, they are definitely on top. Compared to other providers I've used- there are almost never any major outages or disruptions. I haven't experienced throttling when streaming or otherwise using the service. I used to have service with a major competitor which was a constant headache. It seemed like they constantly had outages, there was definitely throttling, and customer service sucked. Sparklight? Customer service had been excellent. They have worked with me and given me information without seeming to be overly pushy with sales tactics.

April 29, 2023 I currently have a mobile hotspot and phone plan with Cricket. I have used wired internet before, but wanted something more portable. For the price of my old comcast and verizon plans, which never hit promised speeds..I have the best internet, the most flexable option, and good speeds everywhere.
