XFINITY Fiber
January 19, 2026 Xfinity is great, the staff in the store are very helpful and they are always willing to try to fix problems. I also like their app. They send text messages every time the wifi goes out. I receive texts if the power goes out, if the wifi router is unplugged, if the Xfinity service itself is the problem, and when the power comes back on. This is extremely helpful because I leave my dog at home when I go to work, so the texts let me know when she will have AC running and when she does not. The app also gives step-by-step instructions to troubleshoot issues and has options for an AI or a real person to ask for help. The issue is that I pay $50 a month for a wifi router that does not even reach halfway across my 1 bedroom apartment. The wifi is great in the living room, but 10 yards into the apartment is a completely different story. It seems extremely overpriced for such a short range. I have tried extenders, they barely work enough to make a google search.

January 18, 2026 I enjoy the current internet provider I use. I live in the countryside, which is known for having poor cell and internet service. I have never had an issue with the current provider I use. They have fast speeds & are reliable. That’s all I can ask for from an internet company

December 29, 2025 Optimum is the worst internet provider I have every had. They are always going out and throttling speed. When You contact customer service they are not helpful at all and they have really poor attitudes. I have actually had their customer service people cuss me out and laugh at me. I will be switching providers as soon as the fiber optic is installed in my area. I would not recommend Optimum to a dog.
