March 04, 2025 My provider is a small rural telco who happened to get some fiber contracts in the larger adjoining metro area. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience - the jobs and people are all local, and when I talk to support I actually recognize peoples names. Downsides are a bit on the reliability side (lately) and the more limited support hours. But I feel like the trade-off is worth it - one of the few tech services I pay for that I feel 100% good about.

May 25, 2023 The speed of the internet fluctuates when more people are on it or during certain times. It goes down atleast once a month for a few hours. They used to have this area monopolized but they have some competition now. They still have the fastest speed available.
