XFINITY Cable
January 01, 2026 Yea sure, so I'd say with my ISP (Comcast), it's a mixed experience with them. The good is that the speeds are decently quick for being where I'm at (live out in the countryside), they provided the fastest speeds out of any of the providers, but the downside to that (little later) is that they also have basically no competition. The customer service is not the best and sometimes when you contact them, they'll end up just randomly rebooting your router, which is funny because when that happens and you were on a live chat, you'd lose the conversation. The call center also tends to skew more out of country too.
We also had other experiences with random outages and slow downs. Sometimes the slow-downs would happen at random, but I've noticed most of them tend to be in the evenings. The pricing isn't the best and they have some schemes of locking you into a 1 year or a 5 year contract which then that rate can suddenly go up after.
Overall they aren't the best, but they aren't the worse, there simply isn't any other provider to go to around here, which is the biggest issue. The only other one, might be Starlink, but they don't provide the best speeds yet.

January 29, 2025 They seem to raise their prices every year and we have to call them in order to lower it. Normally if we say we are unsatisfied with the price and are thinking about switching to another internet provider they are willing to lower our price a little. So it is nice that they are willing to lower prices, but I wish they did not continuously raise prices as often as they do. The overall speed of the internet is excellent, so I am very happy with that, and we never really have any problems with the connection or speed. Every time we have had to call customer service, the people have been really helpful as well.

May 17, 2023 My internet provider has been pretty good for the most part. I have had some issues over the years with speed. The customer service is usually pretty good though in getting someone out to check out any issues. Have had some issues with outages but they typically don't last for long.
