XFINITY Cable
April 13, 2026 I've had some frustration with Comcast in terms of their pricing. I've been a customer for about five years and they regularly raise their rates. As far as I can tell, these rate changes happen arbitrarily and without notice. Though the service has been good and consistent, I feel like they're just incrementally up-charging their customers. They likely feel they can get away with it since there are not many other competing internet providers in the area, and the one who do exist don't have the same infrastructure as Comcast does.

US Cellular Fixed Wireless
February 12, 2026 They've been super solid. Speed and reliability have been great. I don't believe I've had more than an outage of less than 30 minutes in the 2 years or so that the service has been live in my place. Their pricing has been solid for the 1Gig speed, though I wouldn't argue with a speed bump to the 2.5Gig level at the same price. With Comcast offering such, it may be time for them to consider bumping their speeds. It'd also be nice if their citywide WiFi was included for fiber customers. But all-around, it's been great.

US Internet Fiber
December 08, 2025 We had been longtime Xfinity subscribers, but the price kept going up after the introductory period. I called/chatted with them and got my rate returned back to a reasonable amount ($55/month) and was told it would stay there. But then a little while later it started creeping up again and was over $75/month before I knew it. I had seen good reviews in my neighborhood's social media about USI fiber, so I decided to make the switch. The installation setup was easy to arrange, they were non-intrusive despite having to drill into the house and lay a conduit line from our boulevard to the house. The speed has been great, no interruptions, and the price stays constant at $65/month. No complaints so far!

Quantum Fiber
June 20, 2025 Overall, I would say my service with Quantum Fiber is average and basically gets the job done. I wish I had other options, however; I did not have a choice for internet service because this service was automatically rolled into my rental agreement, with a locked in price. I was unable to shop around for better pricing or service. Additionally, as a gamer and someone who needs uninterrupted connection for video calls, this internet service is at times not helpful because I often experience lags or data throttling despite being connected via Ethernet. I find that using a VPN helps this, but I wish I didn't have to do that considering the price I pay for this internet service.

XFINITY Cable
March 15, 2023 I hate that they raise the price every year and I have to haggle over the phone to get a better price. Sometimes I call three or four times and have to threaten to cancel service to get a better price. If they're going to come down on cost, why do they make me jump through hoops? I have been a customer for more than five years. It's ridiculous.
