April 06, 2026 ImOn's actual performance in terms of upload/download speed has been great, there have only been a couple of instances where our internet was down or slow over the course of several years that we've used their service. I work from home and have found their internet service reliable and capable of meeting my needs to conduct virtual meetings and complete my tasks throughout the day. The downsides are that they've become one of the only good options in my area, so they've been able to do things with pricing that don't feel great from a consumer perspective. For example, they regularly increase pricing without notifying us in any way, so we find out when reviewing our bank statements that it auto-renewed at a significantly higher rate. We then have to call and re-negotiate prices. They also were very slow to bury the cable when we initially signed up with them, but I believe that was due to a significant volume of new users signing up with them, combined with a major weather event that hit our region at that time.

May 07, 2025 I have been with south slope for about 7 years, and I have not have issues up until they upgraded, Now my internet buffers often and it affects my job and streaming. Every time I call customer service and IT, they are super helpful, polite and patient. I love south slope but I need consistently working Wi-Fi.
