I have been with south slope for about 7 years, and I have not have issues up until they upgraded, Now my internet buffers often and it affects my job and streaming. Every time I call customer service and IT, they are super helpful, polite and patient. I love south slope but I need consistently working Wi-Fi.

Mediacom Fiber

August 10, 2024

Mediacom is the most used service in my area, so it seems like there is not really a choice. It provides fast service, but slows when multiple gaming consoles are used at the same time. It was very pricey. but customer service was able to lower our bill. They only lowered our price after threatening to go to one of the smaller providers. They were helpful though and offered to deliver a second Ero, hotspot, for free.

South Slope Fiber

June 03, 2024

My internet provider is a local provider. To my knowledge, they do not provide internet services elsewhere. My apartment has fiber connected internet. I feel that the internet speed is good and I haven't had any speed issues. The person who connected my internet was also very knowledgeable. He was able to help me find a good router. They has also been very helpful when any issues arise. I like that they are local. I prefer supporting local businesses, and I've had much better luck with them than previous internet providers.
