September 16, 2026 This may be a bit long but stay with me people... I got FastBridge in the Reading, PA area. I ordered the 2GB speed. When they hooked it up, I stated to them that I needed range extenders because I have an old house that is brick. The tech said that the modem would work... well it didnt. They came back out to look at the service here and put up 2 range extenders. The speeds were in the 200s for download speed and 100s for upload. This is for a 2GB service mind you. The tech came in and said that we weren't going to use 2GB, maybe move down to 1GB. I was impressed but the customer service from the tech. He was interested in fixing the issue. It was good for about a week and then speeds dropped again and I had to have them out for the 3rd time. When they came out, a supervisor was with and said there is an issue with it and that they will work it and get back to me... never did! I got frustrated enough again to call them. I told them I wanted to speak to a supervisor (apparently, they are never there). The tech said that he was going to escalate the ticket to his supervisor for them to call me in the next 24-48 hours. I called 9/8/28, it is 9/16/26 and I have heard nothing! I got on the computer this morning and my speeds were in the 200s again. I tried to call again and this time the lady told me that I am unable to talk to a supervisor again. I was a help desk guy and know how this type of stuff works! She said she was going to escalate it again and I said no I want to speak to a supervisor. She then refused my request. I told her I was going to drive to the site to talk to someone in person and said thats fine you can but we are not there. I then went to the store and guess what... it was locked and no one answered the door (i guess people dont feel like they have to work anymore). They have 0 issues with taking my money but have a problem fixing the problem. I left Xfinity to have a bigger headache!
