May 06, 2026 Overall we have been happy with Ziply Fiber provider. The price has continually increased, however. Now we are experiencing trouble with internet speeds reaching all parts of our house, but I am not sure how much of this is a problem with Ziply, as opposed to needing a signal enhancer or moving of connections to another part of the house. When we contact the provider, they have been very helpful trying to help us troubleshoot.

April 12, 2023 I would rate Comcast overall as an average internet provider. We currently have the same internet speed as we had with a different provider, with significantly noticeable differences in the functionality of the internet. It seems as though if we are not within 10 feet of the internet box, the speed significantly decreases. Attempting a video call on the second floor of our home is completely out of the question. I would really love a fast internet speed, but I am not willing to pay $20 more/month to do so.

April 12, 2023 Comcast offers good download speeds, but terrible upload speeds that make content streaming difficult. Their speeds also vary wildly throughout the day, with upload speeds ranging from 2.5mbit/s to 30mbit/s. I find their data caps unfair as well. They offer 1.2 gigabit down, but with a 1.2tb data cap. Which means I could potentially burn through my data for the month in 2 and a half hours. They offer an unlimited plan for an extra $25/month. But only if I use their hardware. If I want to use my own modem, they want $30/months for it.
I'm not happy with the service but I also don't have any other options.

April 02, 2023 Xfinity provides what I need in order to work and play hard at home. Internet outages are very minimal and do not impact me much. Xfinity also made it possible to quickly setup internet service right away after moving into my apartment without need of scheduling for technician to come. Price is fair for service provided but would prefer if fiber was available in my area at an affordable rate.
