February 15, 2025 I am very happy with Consolidated Communications. The speed is very fast (1 Gbps) and for that speed the price is very reasonable. I have been with Consolidated for 9 years, and in that time the network has been down only once or twice. Any time there has been an issue, it was resolved very quickly. I would recommend Consolidated to anyone who lives in their coverage area. It is far superior to the other options (Comcast, AT&T, etc.)

June 23, 2024 I had Consolidated Communications for 25+ years and was very satisfied. I was more satisfied when they (at their expense) wired up my neighborhood with fiber service. Right away I went from 100 mb/s to 500. And then they offered 1 gig/s service and I jumped on it. Never looked back. On top of that, I had been grandfathered into a 25% or discount every year. Last year, however, after decades, they said they'd no longer offer the discount. I asked for a referral and they suggested Fidium. I signed up, got a quick installation date, a one hour in-home installation at no charge, and got my pricing back to where I had been with Consolidated. I later found out that Consolidated owns Fidium. The only question I now have is: Will Fidium hold to their prices at the end of the first year? That remains to be seen...

November 20, 2023 Consolidated is reliable and overall OK. They are open to negotiation which is why I've stayed with them for ten years. Previously my monthly rate was as high as $81, and I called them and asked for them to lower it or I'd change providers - they lowered it to $47! That meant a lot to me, even if it's a little slow sometimes.
