April 17, 2026 In our local area, TDS is one of only 2 options, the other being Century Link. TDS has consistently been the more stable of the two providers, with less overall outages, better pricing, and better service. Their technicians are almost always timely and have been very knowledgeable. Their equipment is high quality and long lasting despite advances in technology, and when something needs to be replaced, they are fast and efficient in doing so. Pricing structure is fair and well set up for the various speeds offered. The best part is, they're constantly making infrastructure advancements and bit by bit rolling out gigabit fiber across my town, while their competitors sit on their hands and make no effort to evolve.

April 12, 2026 They are just ok. They were acquired from Frontier (who was terrible) who acquired them from Verizon (who was pretty good). In general the level of customer service in the entire industry of telco service providers is terrible. The prices tend to be rising faster than inflation as well which is not good.
