April 14, 2026 Switched from Cox to Ideatek when they first came in January of this year. Speed and price wise they are a lot better than Cox. Although for some reason when the kids try and game after school they struggle more with lag than before the switch. It’s like once the sun sets the internet starts acting up.

September 21, 2025 I would really rather not use Cox. They are the only one’s who service my building, so my hands are tied unless I want to pay AT&T to set up my line. The speed and quality are fine. Their customer service is what really takes them down for me. They don’t stick to their word, and they raise rates without providing notice. I would switch in a heartbeat if I had the money.

August 09, 2025 IdeaTek offers fiber internet and is a new service provider in my area. Prior to that we had Cox Communications. We were paying nearly double and getting 1/3 of the speed we were actually paying for. Fiber has been a game changer and I'll no never go back to coax.
