My internet provider shows up at your house to help set up when you first move in. They show you how to set up all of your items and how to work the app to do self service if I’ve ever had a problem they are very helpful in figuring out the problem. I’m very happy with the speed of my Internet as I work from home so I need it to be working well. I’ve only ever had one Internet outage in the two years that I’ve been living at my current home with my current Internet provider. I can’t say enough good things about GloFiber.

I genuinely like my ISP. The installation from the service technicians was hassle free and took barely any time at all. I think in total it was maybe 10-15 minutes and they were gone. Setup of the router and network (passwords, Wi-Fi name, etc.) was easy and everything was explained thoroughly throughout the process to us during the install. Server speeds vary from time to time which can be a little frustrating since I am someone who likes to have consistent download speed throughout the day.

The speeds usually only drop late at night or the weekend, when more users are throttling service speeds which reduces bandwidth, causing a bottleneck issue. However the speeds are consistent with what was advertised with our service package. Outside of what was mentioned above, I have no other issues with them. The price per month is significantly cheaper compared to other ISPs in the area for the download and upload speeds offered, compared to higher prices for the same if not lower speeds for other ISPs. In my honest opinion, I recommend this service to others who are looking for fast, reliable home internet with fiber optics.

XFINITY Cable

August 24, 2024

Xfinity has caused me so much stress over the past four years as a customer, particularly recently. I am a graduate student and work from home often, so high speed internet is a must. I was recently kicked out of a Zoom multiple times due to poor internet while I was paying over $120. After over 3 hours talking to unreliable customer service representatives, I was finally able to lower my bill. However, it was frustrating and they were rude. I am moving very soon and plan on using Starlink. I would not recommend Xfinity to anyone I care about.

Glo Fiber

October 07, 2023

I previously had Comcast, which I was very dissatisfied with. Glofiber had been advertising in our area but wasn't yet available until about 7 months ago. I was on a waiting list and the very day I got the email I called and switched. The entire experience from the time of my order to the completed installation exceeded my expectations compared to previous providers. The price for Glofiber is about $25 less than I was paying previously. Granted it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but I didn't use them at Comcast anyway. My service has been consistently excellent with speeds that far exceed my previous provider. I highly recommend Glofiber because they do the one thing I expect from my Internet and they do it flawlessly.
